Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index fell 0.54% to hit a new 3-months low.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Griptha Putra Persada Tbk PT (JK:GRPH), which rose 34.15% or 28.00 points to trade at 110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk PT (JK:SBMA) added 29.73% or 33.00 points to end at 144.00 and Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH) was up 26.97% or 24.00 points to 113.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Asuransi Maximus Graha Persada Tbk PT (JK:ASMI), which fell 14.71% or 5.00 points to trade at 29.00 at the close. Multi Garam Utama Tbk PT (JK:FOLK) declined 14.71% or 20.00 points to end at 116.00 and Pool Advista Finance Tbk PT (JK:POLA) was down 14.29% or 15.00 points to 90.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 362 to 300 and 171 ended unchanged.

Shares in Multi Garam Utama Tbk PT (JK:FOLK) fell to 52-week lows; down 14.71% or 20.00 to 116.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.78% or 1.67 to $92.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.51% or 1.61 to hit $105.04 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 26.57 to trade at $4,217.17 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was down 0.02% to 17,877.90, while AUD/IDR rose 0.11% to 12,466.65.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 102.09.
