Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB (ST:HMb), which rose 2.36% or 3.90 points to trade at 167.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA Class B (ST:SCAb) added 2.09% or 2.60 points to end at 124.50 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 1.30% or 7.60 points to 590.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saab AB Class B (ST:SAABb), which fell 1.85% or 11.30 points to trade at 598.10 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 0.89% or 1.90 points to end at 210.60 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 0.67% or 6.40 points to 955.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 375 to 359 and 64 ended unchanged.

Shares in Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.30% or 7.60 to 590.00.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.14% or 0.13 to $93.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.94% or 1.00 to hit $105.65 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 9.26 to trade at $4,181.34 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was down 0.22% to 11.17, while USD/SEK fell 0.58% to 9.98.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 102.03.
