Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA Class B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.96% or 2.40 points to trade at 122.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saab AB Class B (ST:SAABb) added 1.62% or 9.70 points to end at 609.40 and Epiroc AB Class A (ST:EPIRa) was up 1.58% or 4.20 points to 269.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tele2 AB Class B (ST:TEL2b), which fell 4.06% or 6.40 points to trade at 151.15 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 2.27% or 18.40 points to end at 792.80 and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) was down 1.65% or 1.58 points to 94.40.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 394 to 330 and 80 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.09% or 1.92 to $93.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.92% or 2.01 to hit $106.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 26.68 to trade at $4,189.62 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK was up 0.15% to 11.21, while USD/SEK rose 0.53% to 10.05.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 102.38.
