Investing.com – Spain stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Financial Services & Real Estate and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Madrid, the IBEX 35 fell 0.36%.

The best performers of the session on the IBEX 35 were Logista (BME:LOG), which rose 1.76% or 0.62 points to trade at 35.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Puig Brands SA Class B (BME:PUIGb) added 1.59% or 0.29 points to end at 18.52 and Repsol (BME:REP) was up 1.40% or 0.41 points to 29.62 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Grifols SA (BME:GRLS), which fell 2.59% or 0.26 points to trade at 9.76 at the close. ACS Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (BME:ACS) declined 2.17% or 2.00 points to end at 90.20 and Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:ROVI) was down 1.79% or 1.05 points to 57.45.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 116 to 75 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.24% or 9.95 to $4,180.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.15% or 0.14 to hit $93.88 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.92% or 0.98 to trade at $105.67 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.85.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 102.04.
